Exercise Rehabilitation with a Sports Therapist
A tailored rehabilitation program is a key part of a Sports Therapist’s program to help get you back on track. One of the main reasons for a rehabilitation program is not only to help strengthen and improve mobility but to help improve your body’s ability to cope with the demands you want to put it through and intern help keep you feeling on top form.
The initial phase of the rehab program will be to help return you to everyday activities with minimal to no pain. Once that initial goal has been achieved, the next phase is to try and build upon the base of strength and conditioning you have built. This phase is there to help improve your body’s function and hopefully help reduce the risk of further injuries in the future.
